Born at Nottingham and lived at 13, Randall Street, Hyson Green, Nottingham. Son of James and Ellen Miller, of 62, St. Pauls Avenue, Hyson Green, Nottingham; Husband of Ada Florence Fitton (formerly Miller), of New Row, Willoughby-On-The-Wolds, Loughborough, Leicestershire. He enlisted at Derby and was killed in action, on 9th April 1917, aged 31, during the German attack on the British positions at Hill 60, Belgium
