Born at Derby and lived at 3 Brook Street, Derby. Son of Arthur and Mary Marvill, of House 1, Court 5, Kensington Street, Derby. Son of Arthur Marvill; Husband of Beatrice Ellen Marvill, of 45, Leaper Street, Derby. He was a Cattle Drover prior to enlisting 8th December 1915 at Derby. He went to France 13th November 1916 and was killed in action, 12th December 1917, aged 29. whilst serving in the line near Marcoing, France.
