Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of Robert and Emma Hart, of 29, Strelley Street, Bulwell, Nottingham. He was a coal miner prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 1st August 1916, during a raid on the German positions at Givenchy, France.
