Son of Robert and Emma Hart, of 29, Strelley Street, Bulwell; Husband of Fanny Elizabeth Hart, of 2, Hare Yard, Stockwell Street, Bulwell, Nottingham. he was a coal miner prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 26th September 1917, aged 32, whilst in the line near Hill 70, near Mazingarbe, France.
