Born at Nottingham and lived at Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Son of Bartholomew and Ann Good, of 4 West Street, Ilkeston. He was a bobbin carriage hand prior to enlisting at Ilkeston. He died of wounds 27th June 1916.

Buried/: Warlincourt Halte British Cemetery, Saulty, France. Plot 6. Row F. Grave 15.
