Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of William and Lizzie Brown, of 9, Saxon Place, Alfred Street, Nottingham. He enlisted at Nottingham and was killed in action, 13th February 1917, aged 19, whilst in the line near Beauleuz Wood, France.
Commemorated: Thiepval Memorial, France. Pier and Face 10 C 10 D and 11 A.
