Born at Whittington, Derbyshire and lived at Brimington, Derbyshire. Son of William and Almina Bradshaw, of 3 Station Road, Brimington, Derbyshire. Husband of Mary Ann Bradshaw, of 21, Pondwell, Brimington. He was a farm labourer prior to enlisting at Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He served in Gallipoli during 1915 with the 9th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment and was later transferred to theĀ 11th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment in France. He was killed in action, 19th October 1917, whilst serving in the line near Zillebeke, Belgium.
