Son of Edward and Ellen Bennett, of 26, Rock Bank Cottages, Harpur Hill, Buxton, Derbyshire. Husband of Ellen Bennett. He enlisted at Buxton, Derbyshire and went to France 14th November 1915. He was killed in action, 4th March 1917, in the advance at Andover, France.
