Battalion: 16th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Belper, Derbyshire and lived at Parkside, Belper. Son of Thomas and Harriet Bembridge, of 1, Nottingham Road, Belper. He was a Labourer prior to enlisting 1st June 1915 at Derby. He went to France 6th March 1916 and was killed in action, 10th October 1916, age 24, during the attack at Schwaben Redoubt, near Thiepval, France.
