Born and lived at Horsford, Norfolk, Son of George L. and Blanche Bacon, of The Heath, Horsford. He was an assistant in his father’s cow and milk business prior to enlisting at Norwich, Norfolk. Killed in action, 27th June 1917, by German shellfire, whilst in the line near Bully-Grenay, France.
