Lance Corporal Frank Osbund Adams

Born in Nottingham and lived at 42 Bailey Street, Nottingham. Son of Francis Palethorpe Adams and Rose Adams, of 7, Henser Grove, Hyson Green, Nottingham; husband of Annie Adams, of 17, Bailey Street, Old Basford, Nottingham. He was a dyer prior to enlisting on 9th June 1909 at Nottingham. He went to France on 28th February 1915 and was appointed Lance-Corporal on 17th August 1915. He was killed in action during the attack on the Hohenzollern Redoubt, France, on 13th October 1915 aged 21.
