Son of The Reverend Theodore Williams and Mrs I. Williams of Kirklea, St John’s Road, Driffield, Yorkshire.
Was awarded the Military Cross. Supplement to the Edinburgh Gazette (11th March 1918) ” For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He led his company with great gallantry in the attack, securing all his objectives and capturing many prisoners. He consolidated his position and cleared a village of a party of the enemy who were sniping from the houses, accounting for ten of them himself”

He died of wounds received at Clery, Somme, France, 24th March 1918. Age 33.
