Battalion: 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of Mrs Eliza Millership, of 31, Thorneywood Rise, Marmion Road, Carlton Road, Nottingham. A Reservist. He went to France on 8th September 1914 and was killed in action on 20th October 1914, aged 31, when the battalion held position south-east of Bois Grenier, Ennetieres/Escobecques, France against a German attack.
