Private Frederick Wells

Battalion: 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Son of David and Elizabeth Wells, of Toll Bridge, Sutton Courtney, Oxfordshire. He was a farm labourer prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France on 11th November 1914 and was killed in action, 6th July 1915, by German shellfire, whilst serving in the line near Rue Du Quesnoy, France.
