Lived at 18 Watt Street, Nottingham. Son of William and Jane Webster, of 20, Lewis Street, Alfred Street, Nottingham; Husband of Mabel Agnes Bosworth (formerly Webster), of 11, Thurman Street, Alfreton Road, Nottingham. He went to France on 8th September 1914 and was killed in action on 20th September 1914, when the battalion was ordered to retake trenches taken by the Germans at the head of the Troyon Valley, France, during the Battle of the Aisne.
