Son of William Denne Waters and Ellen Eugenie Waters, of Clarence House, Walmer, Kent. He went to France on 7th January 1914 and was killed in action, on 12th March 1915, aged 22, in the German counter-attack and then the British counter-attack during the Battle of Neuve Chapelle, France.
