Born at Hucknall, Nottinghamshire ; Son of Harry and Hetty Tyers, of 36, Harcourt Street, Newark, Nottinghamshire. He enlisted 9th September 1914 at Newark and went to France 2nd March 1915 He died 20th June 1916 aged 19.
