Born at Arnold, Nottinghamshire. Son of Joseph and Sarah Turner, of 41, Jubilee Cottages, St. Albans Road, Arnold, Nottinghamshire. He enlisted at Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. He was killed in action near Epehy, France, 13th July 1917, aged 20.
