Born at Staveley, Derbyshire. Son of W. and Annie L. Turner, of 31 Dallas Street, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Enlisted at Mansfield and died 3rd September 1916. Age 24.

Commemorated : Thiepval Memorial, France Pier and Face 10C. 10D, and 11A.
