Battalion : 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of Alfred Truman. He went to France 14th July 1915 and was killed in action, 14th February 1916, during heavy German shelling and the explosion of a German mine prior to a German attack of the front line trenches near to the canal to the South East of Ypres, Belgium.
