Born at Stonebroom, Derbyshire. Son of Charles Tomblin, or 2 Pettifer Terrace, Westhouses, Alfreton, Derbyshire. Lived at Manor Farm, Car Carlston, Nottinghamshire. Was a Waggoner. He enlisted at Derby 10th April 1916 and went to France 15th August 1916. Died 9th October 1916.
