Born at Hucknall, Nottingham. Son of John And Sarah Teece, of 14, Burford Street, Arnold; Husband of Harriett Teece, of 15, Gedling Grove, Arnold, Notts. Was a coal miner. He enlisted at Derby and went to France on 25th February 1917 and was killed in action, on 21st March 1918, aged 26, whilst holding the line near Noreuil, France on the opening day of the German Spring Offensive or (Kaiserschlact)
