Born at North Muskham, Nottinghamshire, Son of Fred and Kate Talbot, of Crab Lane, North Muskham, Newark, Notts Was a farm labourer. He enlisted 30th October 1914 at Newark, Notts Went to France 18th August 1915 and died of gunshot wounds to his face and skull 6th July 1916, aged 20.

Buried/Commemorated : Warlincourt Halte British Cemetery, France. Plot II, Row E, Grave 5.
