Battalion : 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Sneinton, Nottingham. Son of Walter and Annie Sudbury, of Nottingham ; Husband of Ruth Sudbury, of 181, Front St., Arnold, Nottingham. He was a bobbin and carriage hand before enlisting 23rd January 1908 at Nottingham. Killed in action by german shellfire whilst in reserve trenches near Neuve Chapelle, France, 2th March 1915, age 28.
