Battalion: 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of Richard Statham, of 90A Peas Hill Road, Nottingham. Lived at 13 Hartwell Street, Dunkirk, Nottingham. He went to France on 4th November 1914 and was killed in action, on 12th March 1915, aged 21, in the German counter-attack and then the British counter-attack during the Battle of Neuve Chapelle, France.
