Battalion: 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of George and Edith Stansby, of 1, Abbotsbury, Ambleside Road, Willesden, London. He went to France on 4th November 1914 and was killed in action, on 12th March 1915, aged 23, in the German counter-attack and then the British counter-attack during the Battle of Neuve Chapelle, France.
