Born and lived at South Normanton, Derbyshire. Son of Nathan and Lucy Renshaw, of 45, Victoria Street, South Normanton. Husband of Sophia Renshaw. He was a coal miner prior to enlisting at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. He was killed in action, 4th November 1918, during an attack on the German positions at Poix du Nord, France.
