Born Newark, Nottinghamshire and was an engineers turner in Newark. Son of Mrs E. Pulford, of 38, Middle Gate, Newark, Nottinghamshire. Enlisted 10th November 1914, went to France 28th June 1915. Killed in action whilst serving in the line at Fonquevillers, France, 20th June 1916, aged 19.
