He was born at Leek, Staffordshire. Son of Harry And Gertrude Plant, of 5, Nab Hill Avenue, Leek, Staffordshire. Enlisted at Leek, 28th May 1915. Went to France 6th March 1916. Died 3rd September 1916, age 18.
