Son of Mrs Glenn (Formerly Place), of Ebezena Street, Langley Mill, Notts; Husband of Salome Musson (Formerly Place), of Altons Yard, Heanor, Nottinghamshire. Killed in action, 1st July 1916, aged 29, during the attack on the German positions near Ovillers, France, on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
