Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of Thomas and Kate Pilgrim, of 95, Kings Meadow Road, Nottingham. He was a printer prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He went to France 31st December 1915 and died of wounds, 18th October 1916, aged 19, at 2/2nd London Casualty Clearing Station, Meaulte, France.
