Awards : M.M. (Military Medal) London Gazette 18.12.1919, For actions on 5.11.1918, When the advance was held up near a bridge, with  Private Stallebrass,  he rushed forward under heavy machine gun fire and prevented the destruction of the bridge at Maroilles, though unfortunately he received two wounds during the performance of this action.

Son of William And Charlotte Percival; Husband of Sarah Jane Percival, of Nether Laune, Belper Lane, Belper, Derby.

Died : 5th November 1918.
