Battalion : 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived at Cromford, Derbyshire. Son of Francis and Annie Elizabeth Parker, of 25, North Street, Cromford, Matlock, Derbyshire. He was a domestic gardener prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France 14th July 1915 and was killed in action, 8th November 1916, aged 23, whilst serving in the line near Montauban, France during the Battle of the Somme.
