Battalion : 15th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Swindon. Son of Walter and Sarah Ann Page, of 3, Church Road., Swindon. He was a builders Labourer prior to enlisting 12th August 1914 at Bristol. He went to France 5th November 1914 and was transferred to the 15th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, 20th August 1917. He suffered gunshot wounds to his knee 18th January 1918 and was admitted to the 18th General Hospital at Camieres, France, 19th January 1918. He rejoined his battalion 8th April 1918 and was killed in action, 24th May 1918, whilst serving in the line near Bouzincourt, France.
