Born at Bringsty, Worcestershire and lived at Bushbury, Staffordshire. Son of Henry and Jessie, of Old Workhouse Cottage, Stafford Road, Bushbury. He enlisted at Walsall, Staffordshire and died, 29th October 1918, at Clipstone Camp Military Hospital, Nottinghamshire.
