Born at Burnley and lived at Nottingham. Son of James and Mercy Nuttall, of 104, Hartley Road, Radford, Nottingham. He was a milk seller prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action,16th August 1917, aged 22, whilst at Bellewarde Ridge, Belgium.
