Born at Burnley, Lancashire and lived at Nottingham. Son of James and Mercy Nuttall, of 104, Hartley Road, Radford, Nottingham. He enlisted at Nottingham and was killed in action, 16th October 1916, aged 18, whilst in the line near Thiepval, France, during the Battle of the Somme.
