Private Esma Stanley Bristow Nelson

Battalion : 8th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

He was born at Netherfield, Nottinghamshire. Son of Thomas and Emma Bristow Nelson, of 127, Victoria Road, Netherfield and was a printers assistant in the employ H. Stafford & Co. Ltd. He enlisted at Carlton 28th April 1913 and went to France 25th June 1915. He died 18th April 1916, age 19.

Buried : Ecoivres Military Cemetery, Mont-St. Eloi, France. Plot I. Row E, Grave 7.
