Born at Wormhill, Derbyshire and lived at 4 Upper End Peak Dale, Derbyshire. Son of Martin and Emma Mullins of Peak Dale. Husband of Jane Bennett (formerly Mullins), of Queen Street, Tideswell, Derbyshire. He was a waggoner prior to enlisting 17th April 1912 at Peak Dale. He went to France 28th February 1915 and was killed in action, 17th April 1915, whilst digging a communication trench at Kemmel, Belgium.
