Lance Corporal Frank Moult

Battalion: 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of Charlotte Moult, of 9 Wilford Road, Nottingham. He was a hosiery machine maker prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France on 8th September 1914 and was killed in action on 20th September 1914, when the battalion was ordered to retake trenches taken by the Germans at the head of the Troyon Valley, France, during the Battle of the Aisne.
