Born at Bethnal Green, Middlesex and lived at Nottingham. Son of Hannah Moore, of 21 Paxton Street. Nottingham. He was a packer prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France 8th September 1914 and was killed in action, 26th December 1915, by German shellfire whilst serving in the line near St. Jean, Belgium.
