Sergeant Frank Martin

Battalion: 2/5th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born at Arnold, Nottingham. Son of Joseph and Charlotte. Lived at Watford, Hertfordshire and was for a time a miner at Newstead Colliery, Nottinghamshire. He enlisted at Kimberley, Nottinghamshire and was killed in action, 21st March 1918, whilst holding the line near Noreuil, France on the opening day of the German Spring Offensive or (Kaiserschlact)
