Born at Sheffield, Yorkshire and lived at Misson, Nottinghamshire. Son of William and Mary Elizabeth Marsden, of Vicar Lane, Misson. He enlisted at Retford, Nottinghamshire and was killed in action, 26th September 1917, age 21, during the attack near Weiltje, Belgium.
Buried : Tyne Cot Cemetery, Belgium. Plot 4. Row J. Grave 22.
