Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of Fredrick and Lucy Mann, of 5, Hampden Place, Nottingham. He was an electrician prior to enlisting at Nottingham. Killed in action, 1st August 1916, aged 20, during a raid on the German trenches near Givenchy, France.
