Private Cyril Harry Lister

Battalion : 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Leicester. Son of Albert Henry and Eliza Lister, of 14, Rowsley Street, Leicester. He was a carpenter prior to enlisting 17th November 1917 at Leicester. He went to France 3rd April 1918 and was transferred to the 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, 4th April 1918. He suffered shrapnel wounds to his left arm and right leg, 28th July 1918 and was transferred to the 3rd Canadian Stationary Hospital, Doullens, France, where he died of wounds, 20th August 1918, aged 18.
