Battalion : 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Bulwell, and lived at 35, Minerva Street, Bulwell, Nottingham. Son of Joseph and Celia Leatherland, of 87, Coventry Road, Bulwell. He was a hosiery presser prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He went to France 15th August 1915 and was killed in action, 20th June 1917, whilst out on a working party at Ypres, Belgium.
