Battalion: 1/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of Mr and Mrs Richard Keward, of 5, Dakeyne Street, Carlton Road, Nottingham. Went to France on 27th October 1915. Killed in action, on 1st July 1916, during the attack on the German positions at Gommecourt, France, on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
