Born at Southwell, Nottinghamshire and lived at 14, Wilton Terrace, Old Basford, Nottingham. Husband of Annie L. Jackson. He enlisted at Nottingham and was killed in action, on 2nd November 1916, by German shellfire, whilst serving in the line near Arras, France.
