Battalion : 1/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Birmingham and lived at 10, Church Street, Lenton, Nottingham. Son of Thomas and Louisa Holland, of 305, Castle Boulevard, Lenton, Nottingham. He was a cycle hand for Raliegh Cycles prior to enlisting November 1912 at Nottingham. He went to France 28th February 1915 and died of wounds, 14th October 1915, aged 18.
