Private Arthur Holbrook

Battalion : 2/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of Thomas Henry and H. Holbrook, of 71, Lees Hill Street, Sneinton, Nottingham. He was a bookmaker prior to enlisting 10th December 1914 at Nottingham and was killed in action 26th April 1916, age 22, whilst attacking 25 Northumberland Road and Mount Street Bridge, Dublin during the Irish Rebellion.
